What is apoptosis caused by?

Antibodies play an important role in the immune system. Their main purpose is to protect us from foreign particles such as bacteria, viruses, etc. Antibodies are produced by lymphocytes. Lymphocytes are white blood cells. Lymphocytes help protect us against pathogens like bacteria, viruses, parasites, etc. During an infection, B lymphocytes produce antibodies that bind to specific parts of the pathogen, neutralize it, and thus prevent its growth. Antibodies are found in saliva, tears, nasal fluids, and milk. Most animals have both T and B lymphocytes.

If you suffer from any infections or diseases, it is vital that you get treatment for it. Make sure that you consult your doctor as soon as possible. Some diseases, like the common cold, are minor, and they can easily be treated at home. However, some diseases like cancer Apoptosis  need to be treated immediately. It is important to know that sometimes, your immune system can also cause harm. It does this by over-reacting to infections and by creating antibodies in the wrong places. When the body produces antibodies in the wrong places, autoimmune diseases are caused. An autoimmune disease occurs when the body attacks itself.
