Are you looking for an adventure that is both physically and mentally challenging? Check out the latest project from the Squak Mountain Club – a free hiking and cycling tour of the White Mountains. With breathtaking views and plenty of opportunities for nature photography, this is an event you want to attend.
When Josh Fenton and I embarked on our latest project – a free hiking and cycling tour of the White Mountains – we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Our goal was to reconnect with nature, challenge ourselves physically and see some of New England’s most iconic landscapes. We underestimated just how rough the trail would be.
Despite being battered by rain, snow, and wind throughout our 8-day journey, we saw plenty of beauty along the way. We encountered endless views of glaciated peaks, flowing valleys, and pristine forests. In addition to all this natural splendor, we made new friends along the way and gained some invaluable knowledge about hiking and cycling in these extreme conditions.
If you’re interested in experiencing some of the same incredible scenery with a fraction of the effort, then read on for more information about our tour. The final destination is a charming city near one of the park’s busiest entrances – perfect for those who want to explore all these mountains have to offer without spending a fortune!
